The Missionary Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

When we received the news about our new allocation it was as a God's challenge. We were in front of many decisions like sell our stuffs, say good bye to family / friends, and don't eat tacos al pastor anymore! But, we accepted the challenge with enthusiasm and love, and then starts the adventure.

Our Missionary Tour

We started the challenge trusting God will provide every necessities. We had not the allocation confirmation from our leaders but the missionary tour at home it was really close. By faith we started to prepare everything to share about this new challenge to the churches at South Border District of Mexico.

We had no idea, but at the last moment we received the confirmation and approbation to share the news. Sometimes we had doubts about our capacities about prepare all, rise founds and be able to the work. But God use to many people and congregations to confirm His will.

We thank God for every one that were part of the adventure with prays, words and offerings, especially to the district NMI board.

The trip

Once the preparation was complete the time to leave came. Jessi don't like fly, but she was happy...under mask.

First stop: Dominican Republic! That means that we were not at home but we were almost there. As you know, Jessi were working in DR by two years in Genesis, that's why she felts as at home, and when we were in Haina as at family.

It was such a blessed time with this awesome people and our hosts AJ & Chealse Fry whom we thank so much.

Then the time to leave to our destiny came so we packed the car and continued our way home, but now with David Campos and Erika Chaves, and don't forget Sara!

It was a long and tired way, but bit by bit we saw closer our goal.

When we crossed the border we began to see cultural differences, read another language and heard the first conversations in Creole, and then our excitement and expectation grew.

So...3 and a half hours later...WE WERE AT HOME!

Thank God we start to feel at home and understand a little more of culture and language. He provide us a team able to work with us and help us to learn and understand more about ministry and culture. We haven't all the sponsors that we need to complete our financial goal, but we trust God will provide through people and churches with generosity and love.

Blessings...so...what if the infinite improbability energy turns on?

Everything it's ok...until...
