The unexpected!

Finally at house! But the unexpected happened. The same night that we arrived to house and while we were taking our first rest in Haitian Lands the president of the country were assassinated, so that produce doubt and expectation about whats the future for the nation.

Thank God we are save in the campus where our house is. That allowed us spend time with Pastor Antoine family (Haiti FSC) and enjoy delicious local food.

Actually during these days we were able to celebrate Mario's Birthday! Although the distance keep us apart of the family and friends it wasn't reason to don't celebrate with our new family and friends with a little surprise party.

About our house. We started to unpack and accommodate some things to feel that place as ours, and bit by bit it is. That house is turning in our home.

At least. At these days we started to understand the first Creole words! We can say hi "Bonjou""Bonswa", we can introduce us "Mwen rele Mario / Jessi", we can ask how they are "Kòman ou ye?" and answer to that question "Mwen byen gras a Dye".

But, the country's situation is uncertain, and the future is unpredictable, and that's why we temporarily moved to Dominican Republic waiting Haiti come back to normal to be able to return.
