What's going on? (Part 2)

…Then, the story continue!

Last post we talked about everything we have been living in this process and how faithful is God providing more than enough in every single need of us, and it doesn't matter if were about finances, health or relationships.

Now we can share there is peace after all what happened.

After a week where Mario had Covid-19 symptoms and saw the hand of God protecting Jessi of be sick or symptoms while she was living in the same place with people tested positive 24/7, we started to feel better and live without quarantine.

We had opportunity to share a delicious Dominican lunch in Wellington's house. He is a friend of us and with his family we could taste the local flavor again and enjoy the Caribbean hospitality. We played some games. We ate with a big family of friends, blood relatives, neighbors and faith family. It was a great experience to learn about culture and the quality of God's love, and how that love is powerful than every kind of border.

Also we had opportunity to visit a multicultural church. We participated at Sunday Bible School in the Spanish Class while we heard the other group in Creole very close to us. We adored with the church singing and praising the Lord, and then Mario preached in front of a congregation after several months.

When the service ends we had one bless more, and it was completely unexpected. We just finished the service when one lady in the church went to Erika, also missionary in Haiti that came with her family and us to the church that Sunday. The name of this lady is Sasha, and is pastors daughter. She and her husband wanted bless us buying shoes for each of us. One more time we saw the love of God in every single part, in the unexpected moment from a lady full of love.

Thank you Sasha! We hope the Lord fill your live with blessings every day! And we want ask if you can take a few minutes to pray for Sasha her family and specially for her son Ian who has been sick.

We thank God for all what we were living here in DR, we thank for the good things and those that are not so good too, for family, friends and church. Now it's time to continue looking for Jesus and find more things to be thankful. We thank God specially because we an go our country to visit our families and take a vacation time after some months out of Mexico. We are so excited. It was our wish be in Holydays with our families, and in one point we lose the hope to do it, but God is so good and He take care of it and make everything to let us spend some time there.

Thanks for read what is happening in our life and ministries, but we want more than you read this. We want you to be part of our ministry praying for us and now we give you a list of prayer requests. If you can take a few minutes and pray for us it will be such a great blessing for us.

Prayer requests:

  • Pray that this vacation time be blessed with opportunities to keep serving and growing in our ministries and in our relationship with the Lord.

  • Pray that God provide the funds to return to Haiti. We have tickets to go Mexico but we haven't enough to buy tickets to return yet.

  • Pray that God provide a vehicle for us in our time in Mexico. We will be moving constantly because we are taking this time not only to vacation. We want take advantage to ministry and share in every opportunity we have, but we want take care of our health in the middle of pandemic and more after Mario was sick and continue weak after it.

  • Pray that God take care and control in Haiti. Situation still bad in the country and we wait turns ok soon to can return.

  • Pray that God provide everything to keep a good, fluid and constant communication with our leaders and brothers in Haiti during our time ministering out of the country.

  • Pray that God give wisdom to other churches and NGO's leaders which have missionaries serving in Haiti, because a lot of them were evacuated and they are waiting to return home soon too.

"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

Phillipians 4:6 (NLT)
